RES Legos Team heading to Championships!

Congratulations RES Lego Team!
RES Lego Team

On Saturday our 4th & 5th Grade Richardson Legos Team went to Clare, Michigan to compete in the StageRight First Lego League Qualifier tournament.

The students competed in the City Shaper Challenge which has three parts: the Robot Game, the Innovation Project, and in the Core Values.

Our team did great and earned awards in two categories.

We earned the Robot Performance Award which recognizes the team with the highest score out of all three matches on the table challenge.

We also earned the City Shaper Inspiration Award for being a team that is empowered by their First Lego League experience and displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit.

We are now one of the ACE (Advancing to Championship) teams and are invited to attend the Michigan First Lego League Championship II at Mason High School on December 8, 2019.

We are especially proud of how well the team, parents, and siblings conducted themselves at the competition. Everyone was very respectful and it was a lot of fun.
