OAS Families, As we all take on another virtual Friday, we wanted to provide some more insight into Google Classroom for our families. Below is a link to a Google Classroom informational presentation. We are hopeful that this presentation will assist families in understanding the features of this program and provide some clarification to the questions that you may have. We appreciate all of the hard work, patience, and flexibility that has occurred within the Owl community as we take on this new learning format. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1RKFTab4302ftvEF4IQHVY6Soub9GNz5FETd27Srfv2k/edit?usp=sharing Go Owls!

Good afternoon, Bus routes will be adjusted throughout the school year in order to get as close to 50% capacity as possible. Bus drivers will be calling parents to confirm stop times and locations before Tuesday morning. We have posted a start of the year route summary to our Facebook page and website and have also included that document in this email. Any changes that occur after school starts will be communicated with you via email, Facebook, and www.oscodaschools.org as soon as possible. Reminder that if you see YELLOW flashing overhead lights on the school bus, you must be prepared to stop; be on the lookout for children coming from any direction as they are often unpredictable. If the RED flashing overhead lights are on it is illegal to pass no matter what direction you are going. Please keep our students safe and follow the law. Oscoda Area Schools in in need of bus drivers, either full time or substitutes. Call 989-739-2024 to connect with me if you are interested. Happy Wednesday! Chester couldn't wait to share some pictures from his past week. He was able to enjoy a local campground and he loved it! He loved getting to run and play. He especially loved the dog park obstacle course. He hopes that you are also enjoying the fresh air. He can't wait to see you again! Here are some other notes from Chester: *Chester is back in the building for the 20/21 school year. The school offices are open. Feel free to stop in to complete an enrollment packet or call the offices if you have any questions. *Chester is looking forward to seeing the students again. He knows he may need to pop into some online classrooms to be able to see students who will be online. He wants all students to know that he will make it work so that students who could use some Chester time either in person or online will get to see him periodically. Stay safe! Stay healthy! Go Owls!
